My home studio is a period Georgian style apartments with a huge South facing bay sash window in the living room with beautiful natural light all year round, high ceilings, a huge grey plain wall, and a choice of backdrops from textured art to walls etc. My home is also furnished with an eclectic collection of retro furniture and props, which can be used to re create the urbex feel I love so much. There is a long hall with doors at either end, lit with white led downlighters at night, and fantastic light again in the day making it easy to work with. There is a imposing tall staircase with a window and blind at the top, and my bedroom has a cosier cottage feel to it with a mirrored wall and lovely North facing mute window with blind again.

I'm lucky enough to live on the Thames, with the bridge and meadows on my doorstep, and the lock almost within site. Often shrouded in mist and fog it makes for wonderfully atmospheric shoots and being on the doorstep is ideal for night shoots. I'm also local to Chobham and Wisley Commons, St Anne's Hill Boldermere Lake and The Surrey Hills.

There are also the old abbey ruins in the village, with wonderful iron gates, old walls, and quirky little doors.
